Financial education is only useful if it can be read. We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA principles across the site.

What we implement

  • Text and background colours chosen for contrast in both dark and light themes.
  • A skip link to the main content, and a logical heading structure with one H1 per page.
  • Full keyboard navigation with visible focus indicators on every interactive element.
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images.
  • Semantic HTML landmarks: header, navigation, main, article, aside and footer.
  • Responsive typography and layouts that work on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Reduced-motion support: animations are suppressed when your system requests it.
  • Form controls in the educational calculator paired with visible labels.

Known limitations

Some data tables are wide and may require horizontal scrolling on very small screens. Decorative background graphics are hidden from assistive technology and carry no information necessary to understand a page.
